Effie the perfect host!
Liked: Effie is the best host. She will give you a thorough personal check in with lots of tips and information as well as gifts throughout your stay. Her beach and restaurant recommendations made our stay! The apartment has everything you need and more. It is extremely clean and feels brand new. This is right in the heart of the old town. A huge terrace up a spiral staircase but you'll need mobility as it is vertical. Listening to the bells with a view of the Venetian Palace and old mosque is wonderful. Read her parking message thoroughly and you'll only pay 5E per day.
Liked: Effie was an amazing host. Kept in contact all the time to see if we need anything. Gave us great recommendations for restaurants. Left us lovely treat hanging on our door to have with our morning coffee.
Liked: From the moment we arrived, everything was simply perfect. The accommodation is beautiful, spotless, incredibly comfortable, and equipped with absolutely everything you could possibly need for a wonderful stay. The location is absolutely unbeatable - right in the heart of the Old Town, surrounded by the charm, history, beautiful streets, restaurants, cafés. The terrace adds that extra special touch - a peaceful little corner where you can sit, relax, enjoy your coffee, and feel completely at home. But what makes this place truly exceptional is the host. I honestly cannot put into words how kind, warm, welcoming, and genuinely thoughtful she is. Her hospitality goes far beyond expectations - she makes you feel like you are staying with someone you have known for years, rather than in a rental. Absolutely perfect - highly recommended, and we cannot wait to come back!

Liked: We loved staying at Effie's apartment. It was so very clean, the location is amazing; I don't know how it could be any better in Rethymno, all the amenities you could need are close by. We loved coming back to it after a big day of exploring Crete. But what we loved most of all was Effie's beautiful hospitality. We were welcomed with her warmth after a big day of travel and she was there for us if we were in need of anything. Effie can also offer some great advice on where to vist in Crete. I will definitely be seeking to stay at Effie's when we come back!

Liked: Effie the landlady was absolutely incredible,attentive, respectful, unbelievable helpful & generous…she would bring us gifts and help us with places to visit and made our stay incredible.
