  A wonderful stay in Rethymnon with the great location of Porto Enetiko suites

  Liked: View onto the picturesque Venetian harbour. Cleaning staff very good. Location in the old town was perfect, close to shops, cafes, restaurants, icecream, museum, bus, tourist train, fortress. It was surprisingly beautifully quiet at night.

  Disliked: The steps but that gives you a good view! We had help with our luggage which was appreciated.

  A fabulous location with the view and the happenings of the harbour right there below balcony. Apartment so central and

  Liked: The absolutely amazing view from the balcony overlooking Rethymno harbour. Location was so central, the apartment was fitted out with everything you needed for our 4 night stay. The manager Nick was so helpful and responded quickly on any request. A thoroughly enjoyable stay and would recommend.

  Liked: Location

  Disliked: The location is quite good — close to the city center and within easy walking distance of restaurants. However, the room was disappointing. The room shown in the photos with a port view actually faced a back road. The room itself felt quite tired and worn, with many visible signs of age and poor maintenance. The bathroom was particularly unpleasant and in need of renovation. I have read that the staff are friendly, although I personally did not really have any interaction with them. Overall, the experience was very average. Considering the price, I would not choose to stay here again, as the quality simply did not match what I expected for the money.
