Fabulous
Great location and lovely staff
Liked: Breakfasts were imaginative and generous, and we were very well looked after by Maria, who cooked and served them. We had an airy apartment at the top of one of the ancillary buildings, with a roof terrace which looked towards the Venetian Fortezza, a fabulous view which we absolutely loved. The apartment was very clean with comfortable beds, in a quiet location in the Old Town, from which we could easily walk around all the most interesting parts of Rethymno
Disliked: The furnishings were pretty limited: a comfortable bed, some hangers for clothes, and that was about it for the bedrooms. Nowhere to hang towels in the ensuite bathroom. No bedside tables (we brought in chairs from the dining room). We had to finish making up our own beds with a neatly ironed top sheet lying folded on top of each of the beds, which seemed a bit bizarre. There were only thin coverlets and no blankets (it being October), but these were brought to the apartment after I called the owner. The attention to detail wasn't great: only two wine glasses for 4 of us; an empty box of washing tabs on top of the washing machine (we weren't going to buy a whole box just for 2 nights); limited crockery and cutlery in the kitchen

High quality suites to let yourself travel through the local history! Excellent staff!
Liked: Clean and spacious room with balcony. Great location close to everything in old town. Nice little swimming pool to cool off in after a hot day. Excellent breakfast and service. Paid parking lot nearby.
