Exceptional
Not So Luxurious
Liked: Location was awesome. The room was clean and the patio was spacious, even though the hot tub didn't work.
Disliked: We had a few issues during our stay: First, the hot tub didn't work and wouldn't heat up our entire stay. I messaged the host to let them know, and they said they would send someone to fix it. The next day, a technician came by apparently during the day while we were gone. When we came back, the hot tub still didn't work, and when I reached out to the host they told me the hot tub was still usable even though it wouldn't heat past 33° Celsius. Their argument was that the jets still worked and there was still water, so the hot tub was still usable. Last time I checked, the main purpose of a hot tub is to have HOT water. I had mainly booked this room to due to the hot tub on the patio. This was a huge disappointment. Second, the A/C was poor, and we had to run it at full blast 24- hours a day for the room to get to a comfortable temperature. This was OK, but still not up to the standard of a "luxury" experience. Third, the wifi was spotty, and the last day of our stay it wouldn't work at all. When I mentioned this to the host they said "no one else has complained about the wifi." I'm happy others had a better experience than we did. I also want to make others aware when booking - not all of the suites have a view of the bay. 2 of them are facing the road and have no view of the water. I made the mistake of booking and then reading the fine print. Be aware that you might not get the view you want. For the price this was pretty ridiculous. I wouldn't consider this a "luxury" stay at all. Customer service was rude and frankly the room itself minus the hot tub was average at best. For our issues, the host offered to take care of the cost of our parking pass. This was a total of 20€. How kind.
Just book you won’t be sorry
Liked: Just book it. One of the best places we have stayed. They have thought of everything. Modern huge amazing balcony perfect location. Close to parking but right on the water.
Disliked: Nothing we loved it.
Liked: The apartment was clean, very spacious and looks very good. Modern furniture and look and feel with a functional AC. We booked the terrace room which was gorgeous, lots of sitting areas, pretty lights during the night. The bed was comfortable and the room is soundproof so we slept really well. The TV is smart and we were able to watch movies directly from Netflix. There were plenty of nice touches like a gift basket, slippers, tissue box, plenty of towels which we appreciated very much. The staff is friendly and the location is right in the lively area with all the shops and restaurants but it was not noisy at all.
Disliked: We had a longer stay (a full week) and the breakfast was quite repetitive. There were some slight variations but mostly the same thing (also we were not asked about preferences or allergies). It was served at 9 AM and you couldn’t opt for another time. Also we reserved parking in advance and we paid it upon arrival however it only grants access to a public parking service (Venetian Port). This means you don’t have a spot reserved, if the parking is busy and queue gets long, you have to wait and you need to go around until a spot gets freed. Some days we had to do this for more than 10-15 minutes even though we paid for parking (10 euros a day which is cheaper than if you were to pay directly at the booth).
Great and comfortable
Liked: Amazing view and location. Really enjoyed the rooftop hot tub. AC worked great. Owners were so sweet with the welcome gifts. Loved our stay.
Perfect place to relax and be on the doorstep of shops restaurant and bars
Liked: The room and courtyard were excellent very clean and high quality finish and furnishings. They had complimentary wine, water, orange juice and snacks. The location is right in the heart of the old town with a car park really close by. The jacuzzi was nice touch and we enjoyed that. We would definitely book again.

Beautiful accommodation in a perfect location to explore Rethymno
Liked: Absolutely luxurious accommodation in a fantastic location. The apartment is right in the centre of old part of Rethymno which is beautiful and bustling ancient town. Once you step inside it’s peaceful and relaxing.
