Liked: The property was excellent and exceeded all expectations on arrival. The suite was immaculately clean and everything about the suite was fantastic, close walking distance to the main town, bedrooms were spacious and decor beautiful. We had a spa in the room which created an amazing environment to relax. After a busy day out this was amazing. The staff especially the host/Manager Thomas was so helpful, polite and so accommodating for all our needs, nothing was too much trouble from booking transfers, best places to eat, shop and even supporting us when we required some first aid! Breakfast was included in our accommodation which was amazing overlooking the ocean from the terrace!

Liked: We had an amazing two-night stay at Hill Suites in Fira, Santorini. Thomas was fantastic from start to finish, with excellent communication before and throughout our stay. He was always available, made sure we had everything we needed, and went above and beyond to ensure we were comfortable. The property itself is beautiful, and our room was exceptional. We especially loved having our own private jacuzzi, which was the perfect way to relax after a day of exploring the island. The breakfast each morning was delicious and a great way to start the day. We also greatly appreciated all the help with transportation and navigating Santorini’s winding roads, steep slopes, and unique layout. The local advice and support made our visit so much easier and more enjoyable. We highly recommend Hill Suites to anyone visiting Santorini and would happily stay here again.

Liked: The property itself was lovely, the Superior Suite was excellent, and we really liked the location. The staff was very friendly and helpful especially with the check in since we arrived earlier, so it was offered to us to keep our bags in a office so we could go out and explore. The breakfast is very good and we also liked the fact that they had a transfer to the airport.
Disliked: The main issue was a serious and frightening safety incident in the pool/jacuzzi. My mother was caught by an extremely strong suction force around her back, pulling her skin deeply into the opening. The force was so strong that it took three people to free her. We were extremely lucky that the consequences were not much more serious, as this could potentially have resulted in a very serious or even fatal accident. There was no clear warning or visible signage about this suction hazard, and the jacuzzi safety rules were extremely faded and practically unreadable. We were also disappointed with how the incident was addressed by the staff. The employee was very friendly and apologized multiple times, but then also implied that the incident was our fault because my mother should not have been on that side of the pool/jacuzzi when there were no signs that would inform us about a potential hazard like that. We do not feel this is an acceptable response when a suction point has enough force to trap a person and require three people to release them. The incident left my mother injured and traumatized, left us all traumatized as well and meant that we spent the rest of the afternoon caring for her instead of enjoying the property and the activities we had planned. It was a very distressing experience for all of us.

Liked: It was close to walk into Fira. The rooms were spacious and really clean. Thomas on reception was excellent, lovely guy and helpful.
Disliked: The set up of the rooms with your own hot tub is very disjointed and not clear when booking. Our room was 2 sets of stairs away from our plunge pool which was on a shared small terrace with another room. When we arrived a large group had already taken over the terrace so there was no room for us and we were told its first come first serve. After a long day travelling this was so disappointing. So make sure you check your room/plunge pool layout. The breakfast was “nice” but fairly basic.
