Amazing hotel, breathtaking view
Liked: We had such a good time. The view ist spectacular, also George, the manger, is super nice and recommend us some amazing spots and restaurants on the island. The pool area was beautiful, from every balcony you have caledra view. Also the sunset is breathtaking. The location is perfect and very quiet since the centre of Fira with the most restaurants is a few metres away. I want to come back here as soon as possible!
Disliked: The breakfast times are a bit unusual for us since we normally like to breakfast at around 7.30 and here the first breakfast spot is at 8.30. The pool could be heated.
Overall, we enjoyed and liked our stay a lot
Liked: Location is perfect with fantastic views of the caldera from the terrace. Walkable to shops and restaurants. Staff are helpful and George, the manager, personally attended to our needs like booking airport transfer in and out, and booking our private car tour. He also assisted us with our luggage and our breakfast by the terrace is perfect.
Disliked: Since you’re not allowed to put the toilet paper into the toilet, I suggest that hotels should install a bidet for people to use instead. Manual bidets are easy to install and to use, just like in Japan and Korea.
And incredible Caldera view hotel with amazing breakfast included
Liked: I loved our stay at Pantelia Suites. First of all of course is the Caldera view. It is stunning from your patio and from the upper common areas. The suite we stayed in felt like a cave with its arched roof and low doors (I’m tall). The beds are comfortable. The staff is so friendly and accommodating. The breakfast was a highlight, and I had high expectations from reading reviews on Google and on Booking.com. It was so amazing to pick your choice for the breakfast and it is brought out on time as scheduled and you have this incredible view before you. Wow, what an amazing stay. Another good thing is it is separate from all the loud bright restaurants of Fira so you don’t hear music at night unless you are outside on the upper patios. It is also easy to get to from the main bus stop. It’s a hike up the hill, but you are rewarded with your first view of the Caldera, then you follow the road to the left and you arrive.
Disliked: Really, nothing.
