Exceptional
Liked: Great location, near the Bus Station and supermarket, cafe’s restaurants etc.. But, what made our stay here exceptional was Arturo, who greeted us and made us feel very welcome. He allowed us to leave our bags as we had a very late departure, and allowed us to use the facilities. Thank you Arturo, you made our visit to Santorini memorable.
nice clean accomodation
Liked: - very good location, nice building, comfortable bed, very nice staff especially the gentleman from the reception - the jacuzzi on top is really nice, you can sit on sunbeds and there is a seaview from there
Disliked: - there were some ants in the room - once a cleaning lady appeared suddenly on my balcony as I was in the room and the balcony door was opened and called for me and asked me if I want cleaning, I was just finishing changing my clothes so if she appeared 1 min earlier she would see me naked:)) so I think it's not really ok but the lady was very nice and smiling so she meant well but maybe knock on the door and not just enter from the balcony:)
Best stay during 22 days in Spain, France, Italy and Greece
Liked: Arturo who greeted us was extremely helpful, greeting us at the front step and handling our luggage. He explained everything clearly. We stayed in many places during 22 days in Europe and this was the BEST both in quality of facility and staff. I HIGHLY recommend.
Disliked: It was perfect.
Great location and value
Liked: Location is perfect walkable distance from Fira center and bus station. Arthur was a great host.
Disliked: Ac wasn’t working, we opened windows at night to sleep, terrace great but is a pool not a jacuzzi.
Good, with a few tweaks needed
Liked: Nicely renovated room, convenient location. Nice big balcony with a drying rack to dry clothes. The cleaning ladies even brought my nearly dry washing in one morning when it looked like there might be a light shower. Nice view from the roof top spa pool. There are block out blinds and sheers on the balcony door, so easy to get a good sleep or sleep in. Bed was comfy.
Disliked: It was difficult to choose between the double/twin room and Superior room as some of the photos of internals were the same and there seemed like many variations, some inferior. The double room included a balcony in features but the superior did not. I kept the superior room and cancelled the double to play it safe, after I was told the superior did have a balcony. There has been no changes to photos or room descriptions so I can only assume that who answers the messages has the attitude " it's not my problem or job to fix" I noticed that the rooms at the front had the best views, but smaller balconies including where you go up the stairs to pool. These would have been noisier than my room at the back which looked onto the back of the ambulance station with a partial view of the sea. As the rooms all seem to vary to a degree they should be given a name or number with only photos relevant to that room so that guests can make an informed choice. Although my room had a nice bathroom, big basin and bench, the shower was the let down as the screen was too small to stop water splashing onto the bathroom floor. This was a concern based on the photos. The water then starts to run to the opposite corner of the room, missing the floor waste as there is no fall on the floor to the waste. Either a wet floor or soaking wet bath mat.This can be rectified with a hinged door to the shower and plastic trim at the bottom to stop water escaping the shower. The room did not seem to be fully finished with electrical cables hanging out of the wall in 2 places and no hook for hand towel, although there was room for about 5 hooks on the walls around the wash basin.
Great pick for Fira!
Liked: Lovely front desk staff that made us feel very welcome and gave us an introduction to Santorini. The room was spacious with a private outdoor area to enjoy a coffee and dry our clothes. Comfortable beds and shower. Very central location in Fira. Loved everything about it!
