Exceptional
Stunning place to stay
Liked: Stunning location with great view of the bay. Lovely pool and terraces with steps down into sea. We stayed at the end of the season and when the weather turned and local eateries closed due to storm, the manager ordered food for us from Appolonia. Would love to come back and enjoy Platys Gialos in warmer weather!
Disliked: Some reviewers have complained about the breakfast and yes the hot food wasn’t always hot but this didn’t bother us
Amazing place, so relaxing and chill
Liked: An amazing location, end of season so nice and quite. Sleeping whilst hearing the sound of the ocean is lovely, staff super helpful, village is great (fairly busy for time of year) so is the beach, and the hiking trails are right on your doorstep.
Liked: Staff were great, bed was comfortable and we had a lovely terrace. It was super clean as well. Breakfast was very nice, especially fresh orange juice! Would highly recommend.
Fabulous!
Liked: Lovely hotel and beautiful garden setting in Platys Gialos. Wonderful long sea view from our balcony on the second floor. Breakfast was delicious with freshly squeezed orange juice and fresh fruits. We would certainly recommend this hotel to our friends and look forward to returning for another stay.

Ideal place to stay on lovely Siphnos
Liked: Perfect location at the end of lovely sandy beach, so no noise from traffic or beach bars. Spacious clean room with glorious view. Easy access to beach, nice pool. Great choice of places to sit in sun or shade. Colourful garden. Friendly staff. Bus stop right outside.
Disliked: Nothing! Maybe it would be nice if there was a proper bar.
A perfect location from which to swim/hike/day trip, and making the most of this fabulous Greek island
Liked: The hotel sits right at the end of the sandy beach, slightly away from the busy-ness of the beach front properties/bars/restaurants of the strip. There’s a handy bus stop directly outside to connect to other areas of the island and plenty of hiking options from the doorstep too.
Disliked: It’s been mentioned in other reviews but if you want a warm “hot” breakfast option you have to be in the restaurant by 8am as there appear to be no means to keep the eggs/bacon etc warm.
