Exceptional
Liked: We loved our stay at Green House Skiathos! A perfect choice of accommodation which we would choose again. Martha was an excellent host - really great, fast communication and super helpful with our queries. Offered to book a taxi for us which was very helpful! Absolutely no faults with the hosting, she was fantastic. Thank you Martha:) they have a very helpful website with recommendation for restaurants, bars, activities and contact information for any emergency or medical services if required. This was a really nice touch to have this info in one place. The room itself was excellent - immaculately clean and extremely well presented. There were small touches that made it feel like they had really thought about the space, for example there were plenty of outlets, especially next to the 2 single beds and on both sides of the double bed. One of the single beds also had a small side table next to the outlet. This meant that everyone could charge their phones next to the bed at night. There are lots of amenities including washing machine with laundry pods included, a line to hang out washing outside, pots, pans, cutlery, multiple coffee pots. Although we did not cook, it had everything you would need if you wanted to. There are also 2 air conditioning units, one upstairs and one downstairs which worked perfectly and kept the room at a comfortable temperature. The location is very good, right in the small town and a short walk to the port, the beach or the Plakes lookout. Super easy to get around town from this location (<10 mins). Close to bus stop 4 to get anywhere else on the island. We didn’t have a car so unsure about parking but there seemed to be a public car park a very short walk away, down from bus stop 4 coming into town. Martha and her team kindly provided housekeeping, bedding and fresh towels halfway through our stay (we stayed 4 nights). This was lovely to have.
Fantastic location, would stay there again!
Liked: The location was fantastic for accessing the old town, port and the beach was about 10 minutes walk. It was lovely staying right in the middle of the old town, beautiful winding streets, very atmospheric. The apartment was small but perfectly formed. The kitchen had all the utensils we needed, the beds were comfortable and the host Martha was very friendly, easy to contact if we needed anything and she left food, water and wine for us which was really welcoming. Everything was clean and the decor was really relaxing. We had the double room and our 2 kids (14 & 16) had the single beds in the main open-plan living area. The air-conditioning worked brilliantly which was a relief after a hot day!
Disliked: The kids were sleeping in the main living area so first thing in the morning there was no other space inside to hang out inside other than our room. Not a major problem as we were only there for 3 nights. The shower leaked onto the bathroom floor. Again it was not a major problem.

Liked: A quiet spot in the heart of the old town - has a very Italian vibe in a way. Getting to the property might be a bit of challenge with big suitcases but other than that a lovely place. There are several beach bars within a 10 min walk, several restaurant and a small supermarket.
