Nice but unfortunately
Liked: Enjoyed our time here, but due to an encounter with staff below it was ruined
Disliked: We missed the last bus and had to walk up the mountain to reach the hotel at midnight. It was very hot, so I had my shirt over my shoulder. When we went to collect our room key (they insist to hold onto them), one of the owners saw me and said I needed to settle my afternoon tab immediately. I followed him to pay, assuming I’d sort it at checkout, but when I only had a card and no cash, he became visibly annoyed. My wife apologized, sensing his frustration. He then called me to the other side of the bar to pay, and proceeded to angrily tell me it was very disrespectful that my shirt wasn’t on, since his was. I was still catching my breath from the walk and hadn’t planned on interacting with anyone before reaching our room. He was the one that called me over. He showed no acknowledgment of the circumstances, and his hostility towards me ruined the last night of my holiday. Wouldn’t recommend staying here based on how this was handled. Just wanted to note the other staff were very nice and friendly, just the guy who drives the bus was the issue.
A family welcome
Liked: Everything - the welcoming and friendly family service from Dimitri and his son, Dimitri's omnipresent brother Costa, and their father - the breakfast, the restaurant serving delicious, hearty and authentic Greek food, the comfy and clean bedrooms, the regular and reliable shuttle service, the awesome views from everywhere and quiet air-conditioning at night. The pool was lovely with plenty of sunbeds. Our first stay here but the best of our 4 visits to Skiathos, as good as other places have been. Great value for money too.

Lovely service from Costa and Dimitrios
Liked: Staff were lovely, room was value for money, location was pleasant
Disliked: Transport to the town was expensive via taxi, or you could take a 20 minute walk to the bus stop. The hotel bus was helpful but didn't take us all the way into the town, and only ran at certain times from 10AM onwards (a little later than would have hoped)
