Very disappointing stay – poor facilities and service
Disliked: Unfortunately, our stay was extremely disappointing and fell well below the standard advertised on Booking.com. There was only hot water from the kitchen tap, with no cold water, and the shower holder was broken, meaning we had to hold the shower head throughout the entire shower. The beds were extremely uncomfortable, making it very difficult to sleep properly. The room was not cleaned during our stay unless we specifically requested it, which resulted in the bin overflowing and us having to take the rubbish out ourselves. Our bedsheets were also not changed unless we requested this. There was no Wi-Fi in our room, and we had to go into the corridors/stairway area to get a connection. The lack of accessible staff was also extremely frustrating. There did not appear to be a properly functioning reception, and although a phone number was provided for assistance, nobody answered when we tried to contact them. Overall, there were far too many basic issues for this to be an acceptable stay. The facilities, cleanliness and level of service did not match what we expected from the Booking.com listing. We would not stay here again and would not recommend this accommodation.
Comfortable, without being overly focused on appearances
Liked: Copilot said: Simple room but equipped with everything needed, including a small kitchenette. Very comfortable beds, It also has a covered balcony and is conveniently located close to the center of Skiathos.
Disliked: The only improvement I would suggest is a minor refurbishment of the bathrooms.
The worst hotel experience in Skiathos: dirty, unsafe, and unprofessional staff
Liked: Nothing. Unfortunately, the property was in terrible condition: dirty, poorly maintained, and with many things not working.
Disliked: The room was dirty and in very bad shape. The bathroom had mold, the shower was broken, and the toilet seat was damaged. There was no toilet paper, and the staff was rude and unhelpful. One evening, we found our room door left open by the cleaning lady, which was extremely unsafe. When we reported it, the staff denied everything and blamed us instead. The next morning, they laughed and refused to apologize. Overall, the property is in awful condition and the staff is completely unreliable.
