Liked: Whilst near to Airport being 20 minutes on foot the lack of pavements make it difficult with wheeled baggage, especially in the dark, so a taxi is recommended.
Disliked: There is a cocral very nearby sounding off every 2 hours, keeping me awake most of the night. Fortunately my stay was for only one night. I will not be returning.
Nice, good value-for-money apartment in Skiathos Town
Liked: The apartment was spacious, with a nice garden around it. Good wifi. The owner was very nice and welcoming and gave us a lift to the airport on the day of our departure.
Disliked: A bit further out of the town centre but manageable.

Find a different place to stay. Even onto is more budget than other places, it wasn’t worth it
Liked: The location was good. Close to the airport, bus stop and 9min walk to town/the port
Disliked: The room needs a facelift. The shower curtain is too short for the shower. The curtain rod is being held up with a string. The bathroom flooded each time a shower was had. Even when we were just cleaning our feet with the handheld shower head the bathroom flooded. seems like the shower itself was leaking into the bathroom. The first night the owner brought us a mop and bucket. 🤔. The next day when we returned from our excursion, the mop and bucket was gone. Clearly they came in and got it. No housekeeping tho. On day 2 they did housekeeping (which is fine) but they put our stuff into our suitcases, which were open, and closed the suitcases. I don’t know why they were touching our stuff. Our cases were not in their way of cleaning. It made us a little uneasy. Also, the key/lock was super finicky on the inside and out. You had to hold the key just a bit out of the keyhole to open or lock the door. The biggest disappointment was when We asked for a ride to the airport. The owner said to send him a message the night before to remind him or else he would not remember. We sent a message, thru Booking, in late afternoon (yesterday). No response by the time we got back to our room so i sent another message confirming he received the first message. By bed time still no response, and I asked specifically for a response. We assumed maybe he read the message because when the bathroom flooded we needed more towels and he just Brought them rather than responding that he was coming down. One of us was a sleep the first time and one was in she bathroom the 2nd time. So we waited in the morning g at 650am in the driveway beside the rickety little car he picked us up in. Messaged him about 655 to say we were ready and waiting outside. Finally at 705am-ish we had to figure out other means to get to the airport. We managed to flag a taxi, we could have walked but had a fair amount of luggage. Still, at 3:42pm have heard nothing. Yet prior to arrival, the communication was good.
