  Liked: The location was perfect although it takes a 12 min walk from the old port to town (Ntapia). Weather conditions were ideal to sit outside and drink your morning coffee in the veranda. The rest of home facilities worked as they should.

  Disliked: The owner or the administrator was not in the mood to help. I think this was an unfortunate event, and I hope he gained some knowledge that will make him be helpful with families in the future. Or at least his professionalism should be matching the cost of €300+ per night.

  Liked: The house was very nicely done. Situated in the old harbour, on a quiet back street. Comfortable for three people; two adults and a teenager.

  Disliked: We had difficulty finding the house because it had a different name on Booking than it had outside the house. Plus, we would like a cold bottle of water on arrival since tap water on the island is not drinkable and we still didn't know where to get some. Not to mention the 38-40C° and exhaustive travel to reach the place. We did get the previous tenants ice cream in the freezer though... We were really upset about the television not working and that no one was sent to fix it, or replace it as we asked. On the second day when we complained again we got some directions over the phone and managed to get a few channels but without any sound. The general reaction and attitude was disappointing. Furthermore, the double bed was really squeaky, so much that we would think about turning around in the middle of the night. In addition, we never saw anyone to welcome us or even say hello - maybe this is standard with short term rentals. (?) Lastly, we were asked to pay an extra €50 flat fee for our miniature Schnauzer and put the money on the kitchen table, taking a picture of the money and sending it to the contact person. Since we felt the service was quite bed we refused to pay the flat fee. Then we got bombarded by phone calls and messages begging us not to write a review.
