Liked: Great stay! The hotel was very clean and quiet. The location is excellent — just a 10-minute walk to the beach. The host was very caring and helpful. Rooms were cleaned daily. Beautiful sea view from the terrace. We were never disturbed by anyone. The air conditioning worked perfectly. Highly recommend!
A Good Choice for Couples
Liked: The location of the hotel was quite nice, and it was within walking distance of Tsilivi’s restaurants and attractions. The hotel was quiet and had its own parking space. George was very helpful with our late check-in and shared many useful recommendations for places to visit on the island.
Disliked: If you are particular about cleanliness, this might be something to consider, as the sheets and towels were not very clean. The permanent stains on the headboard were quite unpleasant and made it feel unhygienic. The room was cleaned every day, but only the towels were changed, while the sheets were not. The shower curtain was also a little dirty.
Liked: Location, host was friendly and helpful. Our 2nd stay with George and would love to go again.
Disliked: For anyone with mobility issues it is a steep incline to reception.
Liked: This was a value for money choice for two people (mother and daughter) who wanted some quiet place and beautiful sea. The view from the balcony was great, the room was very well maintained and had everything we needed. Moreover, George (the host) was always there to help with any possible questions. The location of the apartments is really good because you are quite far from loud evening music (so that it doesn't bother) and close to the beach (about 7 minutes walk). There are many traditional taverns where you can try Greek cousine, but my strong recommendation is Paradisos tavern on the beach with stunning view (especially in the evening) and absolutely charming people who have been running this business for 20 years (and tavern first opened in 1964, so it's very old). Transport infrastructure is quite good so that you can go to Zante town or other places by bus. At the same time you can always use taxi which is plenty in Tsilivy.
Disliked: It's not about the apartments, but just some information for understanding the local specific: 1. Mosquitoes can always spoil the holiday and there is plenty of them anywhere in Greece (especially when the island is as green as Zakynthos), so don't forget to have an insect repellent with you on the very first day of your stay. 2. Parking space near the apartment is quite modest and the roads are very narrow, so this might need additional attention if you consider renting a car in Tsillivy (but I suppose it's everywhere like that on the islands) 3. If you are looking for a very active night life, Tsilivi is not the best option (consider Laganas instead) but it's also not a completely wild place without entertainment though.
Relaxing vacation stay
Liked: Family business, great location, comfortable accommodation, clean and quiet. Away from loud music and crowds. Great for families or people who like peace and quiet. The terrace with the view is spectacular in the evening. Host is very kind and friendly.
