Fabulous
Wonderful stay in Zakynthos!
Liked: The apartment was in a perfect location, shops right downstairs, the town centre around the corner. Plenty of restaurants and shops. The bedrooms were roomy, the balcony was nice, all the amenities we needed were there. It was also very clean. Anastasia was a fantastic host, great communication, always replied promptly!
Disliked: Nothing really! If I’m being picky, the bathroom became quite stuffy while showering, and exhaust fan would’ve been nice, but I’ve noticed a lot of European properties don’t have those!
Liked: The location is good and the space is good given there are two separate bedrooms.
Disliked: Keys were in a lock box with a code. Unfortunately we didn’t get the code until quite late, after we had to write and ask for it (even though I’d shared my arrival time already). Cleanliness was an issue - one of the bedsheets had stains on it (although to be fair it had been washed) There was hair in the bathroom which was a bit run down generally eg, one of the socket covers was broken and just left there on the window sill. The bin in the bathroom was tiny, which is an issue in Greece because you cannot put toilet paper in the toilet. For a stay of several days, it’s much too small and they do not come and change it during the stay - I asked and they would only leave extra bags for us outside. There was a coffee machine but only instant coffee sachets. On the last day we realised we left a bag behind (containing one of our passports) - obviously totally our fault. The owner said we could come back and get it and the keys would be in the lockbox. When we got there, there were no keys in the lockbox and we couldn’t get a hold of the owner. We did eventually get access but it was quite stressful. Generally found communication with the owner a bit slow.

Liked: Great modern appointments, clean, comfortable and excellent location.
Nice, clean apartment near the main square, easy to walk town & close to shops
Liked: Central apartment close to the square, very easy to walk around the town & esplanade. Basic facilities & clean. fruit bowl also provided, free drinking water would've been a nice bonus on arrival. Luckily there's a market just down the street.
Disliked: Parking can be a bit tricky as its busy in the area & some of the little streets around there are double parked & so tight to drive through it was a bit stressful at times. Apartment was smaller than I expected with not alot of places to put luggage but for 2 nights it was fine & convenient. Arrival check in was a bit confusing, we had emails from booking.com saying we need to have an appointment to meet keys & that delays of hours can occur if we miss it, so thought we had to meet someone for a hand over & when our flight was delayed it was extremely stressful thinking we would be locked out for the night, would be better to just get the door code sent the night or morning of arrival. I didn't have a local sim or data pack so was panicking as we didn't have any instructions or door codes upon arrival - luckily a girl returning to the apartments let us in the main door to drop our luggage & we could sit in the shade on a very HOT day, eventually I was able to get in contact with the owner & she then gave the code but alot of that could've been avoided.

Disliked: The shower leaks to the bathroom, but doesn’t causes any issues
