Liked: From the minute i came into the lobby I was greeted so warm and the staff was always there to help I ordered bed linen for other couch came quickly! I will return
Disliked: The phone in the room doesnt show how to reach the front desk and they need smart TVs to access Netflix
Decent aging hotel with nice pools ands a playground, a little out of the way for both the beach and the main town
Liked: Pools were great, but they close by 6 - god knows why. Staff was generally very nice and helpful - both the reception and the housekeeping. Big spread for breakfast.
Disliked: It’s longer walk to everything - the good beach, the main restaurant strip. There are a few decent restaurants nearby, but overall this location isn’t great. The ool bartender really didn’t know how to make any drinks, and refused to taste what he made, so he had really no idea how bad his drinks were. So the only safe thing at the pool is beer.
Liked: Could do with the pool open later
Liked: It was really amazing for me and my family. The location, cleaning and services were wonderful. All the staff and especially dear Olga, were so kind, smiley, friendly and helpful. Thank you very much for all.
Liked: The hotel was okay overall, but there were definitely some areas that could be improved. The location is very good, and the staff were very friendly and welcoming.
Disliked: THE internet connection in our room was very weak, and at times there was no connection at all. Breakfast was quite disappointing. The food was very bland and lacked flavour, there were no fresh juices, and unfortunately the coffee was really unpleasant. For a hotel, I would expect better-quality coffee, especially at breakfast. We were given an older room, which I understand can happen, but I think some renovation or improvements would be beneficial. The bathroom in particular needs some attention. The shower had very low water pressure, which made washing my hair quite difficult.
Glad we took a chance on Karras Grande
Liked: I initially discounted Karras Grande because of some of the mixed reviews, but when a special offer came up I took a closer look. I realised many of the negative comments weren’t about the things that matter most to me, so we decided to take a chance — and I’m glad we did. My priorities are cleanliness, friendly service and a good location, and Karras Grande ticked all three. The hotel was very clean, the staff were friendly and efficient, and the location was excellent for the main strip, bars and restaurants. It was busy but never felt overcrowded. We stayed in a suite in the newer, modern block. The room was spacious, modern and very clean, and we were really happy with it. Overall, a great stay and definitely better than I expected from some of the reviews.
Disliked: Breakfast finishes at 10am, which was a little early for us on holiday, so despite booking B&B we never actually made it! Getting luggage to and from our room was also a bit of a hassle. There is a lift, but you still have to go up a few stairs to reach it, which isn’t ideal with suitcases.
