Exceptional
Great family accommodation for 8 - all super happy
Liked: Great pool, easy walking location to shops, bar’s restaurants. Air con in sitting room and upstairs lounge area. Fans in bedrooms but it was perfectly fine and not hot. 8 of us stayed happily. Comfy beds - good stocked kitchen. Great friendly owner - on hand to help but not intrusive.
Disliked: Nothing it was lovely.

Fantastic outdoor space and a homely villa
Liked: Nonas House has a fantastic outdoor space with lovely shaded seating areas, lots of space to move your sunbed about and a great sized pool. It is close to the main strip of Kalamaki and for adults a quick 10 minute walk to get to the bars, restaurants and little shops. As other reviews had pointed out it is on a main road that can be busy with no pavements and so we hired a car due to having a young child and being pregnant. This made it a quick 2 minute drive to the main Kalamaki strip and each night there was always a space to park somewhere along the road and there is parking in the drive right next to the Villa which is great at feeling like your hire car is secure at all times. Although on a main road it was quiet at night and we hardly noticed the traffic during the day. It also feels very private as it is above road level and so you are not overlooked and has lots of lovely trees around. And as many parts in Kalamaki you can see and hear the planes landing and taking off but it never bothered us as we quite liked to watch to see what planes had landed and living close to an airport at home didnt make this an issue at all as we were used to airplane traffic. Overall we had a lovely stay spending everyday at the pool and using the different outdoor seating areas. The villa had an overall feel of visiting a family home where everyone could come together to make lots of new greek memories. Also Alex is very helpful at running through the villa when you arrive and is happy to stay in touch as he only lives next door for any other questions you might have.
Disliked: I cant fault anything about our stay at Nonas house. It was a fantastic week away.

Liked: Huge outdoor area, wonderful pool and a spacious, cool house that had everything we needed.

Liked: Fantastic Villa - felt like we had our own little corner of Greece right next to an olive grove. Great spacious outside area with loads of places to sit and lovely pool checked and cleaned every day. Inside is spacious and kept cool by aircon and fans. Everywhere is very clean, living area, bath/shower room 2 bedrooms and fridge etc on both floors (3 double bedrooms and a twin). Alex an excellent host checking and wanting us to enjoy without interfering. Only 10 minute flat walk to loads of restaurants and bars - handy to take a torch to make it safe as no pavements. Loved getting to know our little cat friend. Definitely planning to return here which says it all.

Perfect!!
Liked: My friends and I stayed in this house for a week, and we can do nothing but highly recommend it. The house is much nicer and fresher in real life than it appears in the pictures! And the host, Alex, might be one of the most understanding, helpful, and caring people we’ve ever met. He was always available to assist and was there for us from start to finish. We would highly recommend Nona’s House to anyone visiting Zakynthos, as it’s close to both Laganas and Zakynthos Town. Highly recommended!
