Exceptional
Liked: Everything was just perfect, including the horse and carriage ride through the estate. Barnaby had excellent tips on places to visit and was a delight throughout our stay
Disliked: Nothing
One night couples getaway
Liked: Warm and friendly staff. Luxurious feel of the hotel. Idyllic lakeside setting. Really good food. Super comfy room.
Disliked: Leisure facilities and spa felt tired and dated though clean.
Disliked: Shower pressure and fittings not great, expect better for price being charged. Rose petal turn down also not completed as requested which was very disappointing, was informed by hotel receptionist that the message did not transfer across from booking.com to the hotel staff but the same message had our restaurant reservation on it and that was fine.
Everything was excellent, the room, the spa & the food

Disliked: I wished there were rainy day activities for guests Example; game night or trivia
Great one night stay, would like to have had a few more hours here
Liked: The accommodation and grounds were beautiful. Had valet service for the car.
Disliked: Didn't like that the Father Brown bar wasn't open as noted on the website.
TERRIBLE EXPERIENCE, AVOID
Liked: The location is nice and looks good from the outside
Disliked: Very cold inside, VERY DIRTY, From the lobby, reception to the room. Not helpful staff, lack of interest to make guests welcome and looked after, like any other 5 start hotel staff would do. We had to check out the same day, ridiculous service. NOT A 5 start hotel for sure.
Good to know
