Guest reviews
Very good
Enjoyable and comfortable
Liked: Lovely bedroom and bathroom facilities - spacious and quality - nice cold Buffet breakfast - very friendly staff -
Disliked: No bar facility
Liked: There is not day time bar/resraurants in the hotel, but plenty of them are just minutes away. The breakfast was good. The tram line stop is 4 min walk away which will take you to all parts of the city.
Disliked: The street can be a bit noisy late at night as there are a couple of nightclubs on the street. Noise is manageable with the windows closed and is only noisy on the weekends.
Liked: Comfortable bed. I asked for non feather pillows and it was sorted very quickly.
Disliked: Had to ask for a hairdryer. 1 hanger for clothes! Basic breakfast. No hot food.
A slightly disappointing room made up for by the wonderful staff
Liked: The Albany is in a great location for the centre of Dublin. The staff are friendly and really helpful. The rooms are very clean.
Disliked: There were some basic things I would have expected for the price. A decent shower (it swayed between cold and scalding), a heated towel rail, some decoration on the wide expanse of wall,a safe etc.
Nice comfortable stay
Liked: Very central, comfortable & friendly staff
Disliked: Nothing negative to say
Good location for DCM!
Liked: We booked this hotel in terms of location to the start line of the Dublin marathon! Location was excellent for that! Their breakfast is exceeded my expectations as it was only continental breakfast! Staff were very friendly and helpful at all times!
Disliked: Although the location was great for Dublin marathon start line, if your room is located at the front of the hotel it can be quite noisy! Their breakfast Luas passes by so if you’re a light sleeper this could be tricky!
