Good
In center of Dublin
Liked: Right next to Temple Bar area. Also close to walk to beat ny pubs and site seeing. Own resturent and bar.
Disliked: Not much, maybe that the room has a bit wear here and there. But for a place to just sleep all good. The first thing you see is Ear plugs, this indicates that it could be noise, but to be honest we did not use them.
Liked: Staff was very nice and the rooms were clean and good size with all the basic elements and bed comfortable.
Disliked: The rooms were unbearable noisy during the night. The room it self was nice, and the bathroom was big but the windows were so poorly insulated it was as noisy as if sleeping on the street. The Bar downstairs was so loud on Friday night that the bass off the music was rocking the bed.. the hotel did provide earplugs but that wasn't enough..
Liked: The hotel was in a very good location, right in the heart of the pub district and close to Temple Bar. The room was decent and had everything we needed. There was also a pub belonging to the hotel on the ground floor.
Disliked: Unfortunately, we seriously underestimated just how incredibly noisy the hotel would be. The windows were very old and had a rather strange opening mechanism. We could neither open them properly nor ever close them completely. As a result, the room was always hot and stuffy, yet the noise from outside was so extreme that it continued around the clock, well into the early hours of the morning. On both nights, neither of us managed to sleep for more than one or two hours at a time, with frequent interruptions. There was also no parking available at the hotel, so we had to use a very expensive car park that was narrow and extremely difficult to find. From there, we still had to carry our suitcases quite a distance to the hotel. Perhaps we were a little naive when booking this hotel, but we would definitely not stay right in the pub district again. Instead, we would choose a quieter area nearby and happily walk an extra ten minutes to reach the nightlife district.
Good
Liked: Location is good.easy to go to any plces to visit.
Disliked: There was water left in the electric kettle from the previous guest.Dirty I can't stand such dirtyness.
Very pleasant accommodation ideally located for Temple Bar
Liked: Staff were exceptionally kind and helpful in accommodating us, answering questions and giving directions. Adjoining bar / restaurant was good. Decent size rooms for the superb location right on Temple Bar. No direct hotel parking (understandably) but you can drop off if you're 'flexible' with the taxi rank and they have a deal with a local covered secure car park which worked out well.
Disliked: Nothing disappointed us.
Liked: Staff at the reception was very helpful
