  Liked: Clean rooms

  Disliked: Changing the room because someone was drunk and vomiting at 4 am. To find the next day that they changed him to my new room. And no flexibility to make any change, refund. The hostel was fully booked but I think they need to have some space for this kind of situations and flexibility of refunds if someone can't sleep in the room. I wasn't complaining that someone is snoring but vomiting is a bit extreme. They found a solution in the end and I was lucky that my hotel booking didn't go through.

  Liked: Staff was accommodating with early check in and gabe me a free towel. The room itself was pretty clean.

  Disliked: A challenging roommate that was really drunk and the dining area was dirty. Most hostels have a space for you to make your own food and this one did not. Only purchases available at the bar and restaurant. Also a bit noisy — I did expect it with being a party hostel.

  If you want a cheap place to stay after a night out, then fab!

  Liked: Close to city centre, big room, budget friendly (room only)

  Disliked: Very noisy (great if you like a party), cold, the bath was ridiculous, too high to even climb in and I'm 5"8, no plug, had to pay for a towel. The bed floor plan was strange, had to move them around. The parking was super expensive, food also expensive.

  Basic but good

  Liked: I liked the central location, fair prices, felt safe. Comfortable rooms which were clean

  Disliked: Very very basic we had a private 5 person room with em-suite u have to ask for towels even and the room is the bar minimum in saying that perfect for a night or two and is comfortable

  I’d rather say I didn’t

  Liked: Staff are nice

  Disliked: There is lack re cleaning, many toilet seats are unsecured and move, there’s a film in the floors and it’s extremely noisy great if ur a drunk college kid but it’s no where near what it looks like online n it’s strangely like a wanna be club. Just not for me- and absolutely insane it cost 3x other hostel that were much cleaner social and comfortable. I wish I ever stayed

Valid photo ID is required for check in - passport or drivers license only.

Guests who are under 18 and traveling without an adult must bring a completed Parental Consent Form and a copy of the signing parent’s ID in order to stay in a private room. Additionally, guests under 18 can only stay in dorms if they are part of a group that has booked out the entire dorm room and each member has the required documentation outlined above.

GROUP POLICY: Any reservation of 10 people or more per night will be considered a group with different terms and conditions. Groups reservations can only be made through our reservations team, and Generator reserves the right to cancel it otherwise.

AGE RESTRICTIONS: In Ireland unaccompanied 16 to 18 only are permitted to stay in private rooms. To do so, they must present Generator's parental/guardian consent form and a copy of valid photo identification from the parent/guardian. Unaccompanied under 18's are not allowed to stay in shared rooms, unless they are part of a group that has booked out the entire shared room. The group leader must provide the required documentation to Generator. Failure to comply with these policies will result in automatic cancellation of the booking with no refund. Guests violating these rules will not be permitted to check into the Hostel.

PET POLICY: We would welcome a dog on property but only when staying in a private room, and subject to a fee per dog per Stay. Only Dog under 75lbs./ 34kg.Please inform of your expected arrival time in advance. You can use the Special Requests box when booking, or contact the property directly using the contact details in your confirmation.

Guests are required to show a photo ID and credit card upon check-in. Please note that all Special Requests are subject to availability and additional charges may apply.

A deposit may be required at the property.
