An okay option for a budget or one night stay in Dublin

Liked: The hotel was in a pretty convenient location and easy to find. The price was overall expensive but pretty good for a night in Dublin.

Disliked: When you arrive, they take a €100 deposit for ‘damages’ which feels a bit extreme. Also, the bed was extremely uncomfortable - I could feel springs digging into my back. From the furniture and the decor it was extremely obvious the hotel hasn’t been decorated in a very long time. Also the window was open presumably because the room gets very hot but unfortunately that meant that the noise from the street was very loud. There is a Luas (tram) which passes by pretty regularly. I only needed a bed for a few hours so it was perfectly adequate. if I were staying for more than one night I would’ve been extremely disappointed.
