Fake pictures, fake location, noisy rundown apartment, stay elsewhere

Disliked: The apartment is not where it was advertized. It was supposed to be on the other side of the river, in a different neighborhood. Additionally, the unit does not look like any of the photos in the listing and was inadequately cleaned. The apartment is in disrepair, there are empty picture hooks throughout, stains on the sofa, tiles missing in the bathroom. Check in is over a km away so when they say check in is at 3:30 what that means in practice is that around 3:30 you can pick up your key, and then hike across the river to the apartment. In our case check in was an hour late and we only found this out at 3:30, so we had to hang out in their check in office for an hour as they kept pushing the check in time.

Liked: Close to everything we wanted to see

Disliked: No converters for the outlets so we couldn't use our chargers or other electronics.

Liked: Central, good breakfast oppurtunities close to the apartment.

Disliked: We got another apartment than the one described due to a water leak. The one we got felt smaller thabe the one in the pictures, the beds were small with one not that great pull out sofa bed. Bathroom was done by someone who should not be doing bathrooms. Location is extemely loud at night, I would rather have stayed at any other location in dublin than temple bar in hindsight.

We really enjoyed Dublin and had a lovely time

Liked: The apartment allocated to us on arrival, namely Layfayette Building, D'Olier Street, Dublin was clean, well-equipped and suitable for our group after the Housekeeping Team sorted out our bed preferences the next day.

Disliked: We were allocated a different location to that booked, but our only problem with this change was difficulties sleeping with continuous noise and traffic from a 24 hour fast food outlet near the building. The windows of the apartment really need replacing with at least triple glazing to block this noise and future booking information should point out this problem. There needs to be more information upfront about booking transfer transport, in that I had to change the transfer address from our original apartment booking (Parnell Boulevard) to the City Break Apartments main office in order to collect the keys. There was some difficulties in doing this and eventually I had to cancel the arrangements previously made completely and rebook the transfer under the Taxi heading because it was no longer an apartment location. I would recommend a review of the website to outline in more detail the differences in booking transport to an apartment or office address.

Liked: Very very good location to everything. 2 mins walk to tempe bar, shop if.you need one right across the road and not a bad walk from the offices once you've collected the keys

Disliked: The water tank is very noisy every time you use any water it sounds like there is an awful leak in the hallway. You get used to it but can be noisy in the night.
