We really enjoyed our stay at this hotel and would definitely recommend

Liked: It’s an old building but has been upgraded to a high standard. It’s in an excellent location. The breakfast was first class and evening meals in the restaurant were very good too.

Disliked: It was a bit of a trek from the lift to our room and it was up and down stairs because of the design of the building.

    Disappointing

Liked: The outside of the hotel was lovely, the bar is stunning The location is perfect and far enough away from the main part of Temple Bar

Disliked: We were 2 young women travelling. We were awoken at 3am on our first morning by someone aggressively banging on our door. We got worried and called down to reception who said they would come and investigate We heard nothing more. The next morning we asked at reception and advised what had happened, we were told 'next time call down to reception', so she obviously wasn't listening. There wasn't an incident report logged. Our room was far from reception. I woke up with bites on my legs after the first night so slept fully clothed the next night.

    Uncomfortable and overpriced

Liked: The only good thing about this place was the location and the breakfast buffet

Disliked: The room was extremely small, stains on the sheets, very uncomfortable bed, TV glitching the entire time you are watching it and there’s only like 2 channels. EXTREMELY loud. We could hear people screaming from the streets below until about 4 am every night. We barely slept. You can also hear every noise from neighboring rooms. The shower water got warm but not hot. For what we paid for this place, I am extremely disappointed.

Great location, adorable lobby, great staff, great breakfast...would stay again next time

Liked: Great Breakfast. Extremely worth the price. Location was perfect. Staff was excellent: competent, friendly, efficient, smiling, helpful

Disliked: Little loud outside our window. I realize we are in the tourist area and lots of bars after hours. I wore earplugs which lowered the impact and made sure windows were shut. This was the only issue, but understandable in a city.
