Great characterful old Regency house. Get your own breakfast. Better cleaning needed

Liked: We loved the architecture of the house and all the old furniture, great historic home. The shower dripped all night and when we went to tell reception on the last day there was no one around. The breakfast, which is complimentary, was non existent when we went down at 9 am. The woman who organises it seems to drift in and out and said the other people staying must have taken it.. she produced some very over processed, individually plastic wrapped pan au chocolate which we declined. We made coffee and made do with that. Why they make this offering is a mystery to us.

Disliked: The non existent breakfast and slightly dismissive woman offering it. Also, the rug in our room was covered in bits and looked like it hadn’t been hooverved for a while.

Liked: Convenient and quiet location in a beautiful neighbourhood. Historical building with beautiful interior and decor. Staff were SO friendly and accommodating!

Disliked: It’s an old building so the floors were creaky and you could hear neighbours any time they walked around. The mattress could also use an upgrade.
