Liked: We try and stay here at least once per year, and it never disappoints. The hotel is exceptional, and the standards of service throughout are consistently outstanding. However for me the experience starts from the moment we arrive at the front door, and I would like to recognise Tommy and Brian, the doormen. The way these two gentlemen welcome guests, remember familiar faces and interact with everyone is genuinely special.

Too bad we only stayed 2 nights

Liked: We were greeted immediately like we were old friends returning. The staff made us feel not just welcome but pampered... They even wrapped my cell phone charging cord every evening when my room was turned down!

    Disliked: Only stayed two nights!

    Beautiful hotel with exceptional service

Liked: Stayed here the night after our wedding and had such a lovely time. Staff were so kind and attentive, room service dinner was delicious, the hotel itself is really beautiful and has a lovely atmosphere. From start to finish, we had a fantastic stay, would highly recommend! We’re local so it wasn’t a factor for us booking, but the location is so central to everything if you’re visiting Dublin from abroad.

Wonderful stay, completely spoiled by an overcharge despite checkout assurances

Liked: A beautiful hotel with superb facilities and a fantastic location. The breakfast and the room service was excellent.

Disliked: On arrival, I provided my credit card as a holding payment. At checkout, I was assured this amount would be refunded, less the charges for room service and breakfast. Unfortunately, this did not happen. The hotel debited the full holding amount and then left a further charge pending on my account. I contacted the hotel using the email address on the invoice, but received no response. I then called and was told that the finance department does not work weekends, so the matter remains unresolved. I find it extremely disappointing that such a basic aspect of the billing process could be handled so poorly. I would expect a hotel to be able to process payments correctly and provide a timely response when an issue arises.
