An Absolutely Wonderful Stay and an Amazing Host – We Wish We Could Have Stayed Longer!
Liked: We had a wonderful stay at Rachele’s beautiful home in Altamura.🌹 Rachele is one of the kindest, most thoughtful and attentive hosts we have ever met. She made us feel so welcome from the moment we arrived and went out of her way to ensure we had everything we needed. She is truly the perfect host, and we were genuinely sad that we had booked just one night, as we would have loved to stay longer and enjoy more of her wonderful hospitality. The house itself is beautiful, full of character and absolutely spotlessly clean. The photographs on her Booking.com listing are a true reflection of the property, showing exactly how lovely the home is. Everything was beautifully presented, and so much thought had clearly gone into making guests feel comfortable. There were even toiletries and laundry products provided, and having a washing machine and everything we needed made our stay particularly convenient. The location is simply unbeatable, literally right next to the magnificent Duomo in the heart of Altamura. It is the perfect base for exploring this charming town on foot and enjoying its wonderful atmosphere. Breakfast deserves a special mention, too! Rachele prepared a delicious breakfast for us, and her scrumptious homemade jam was an absolute delight. It was such a lovely personal touch and made us feel especially well looked after. What really sets Rachele apart, however, is her extraordinary kindness. Even after checkout, she was more than happy for us to leave our bags while we continued exploring. When we returned to collect them, she very kindly offered us coffee and drinks. Nothing seemed too much trouble for her, and these thoughtful gestures meant so much to us. We cannot praise Rachele and her beautiful home highly enough. The combination of the perfect location, immaculate accommodation, thoughtful amenities, delicious breakfast and, above all, such a genuinely warm and generous host made our stay truly memorable. Thank you, Rachele, for everything.

Liked: The host was helpful and provided a wonderful breakfast each day. The location could not be better. We hope to return next year.
Disliked: Parking was a challenge because of frequent activities in the village that made parking difficult.

Liked: Fantastic stay - really enjoyed it. Very warm welcome from Rachele set the scene for our 4 night stay. Pizza, cakes and watermelon were much appreciated. Very spacious accommodation with 3 main rooms and 2 courtyards for our exclusive use. Lovely breakfast with food options. Great location in the heart of the city. It was buzzing at night, but the shutters kept the apartment soundproofed. Rachele was very helpful with advice on the locality.

Stylish apartment in the city center
Liked: Beautiful, stylish apartment right in the center of Altamura. The owner, Rachel, takes care of it with love. She paid attention to us, explained everything, and recommended a good place for dinner. She prepared an excellent breakfast for us. The apartment has two lovely terraces and, even though it is right in the center, it is quiet. Parking is 3 minutes from the apartment, with no problems. This was the best accommodation we had on our road trip through Apulia.
Disliked: The phone number listed on Booking was incorrect, but we managed to resolve it.
