  Liked: Spatious room with a very comfortable bed, lots of space for clothes in the room and in the bathroom for guests’ toiletries, great location near the railway station, and very good food selection for breakfast.

  Liked: Good drop off arrangement to get luggage to hotel before parking our car in the suggested parking lot. Very short walk to the hotel from drop off zone. Rooms are very basic but clean enough. Staff were helpful.

  Disliked: Large enough offering for breakfast but not really much I enjoy eating that early in the morning. Would suggest running the coffee machine cleaning cycle before breakfast service in future.

  Liked: Location is great. Near the train station and center of town. The evening front desk lady did go out of her way to try to help me find a restaurant and cool my room.

  Disliked: The room is very small and mine was in a corner and very hot. The air conditioner did not work. When I asked the front desk for a fan, she looked for one but said the a/c in other rooms was working. there weren't any fans in the hotel so I had a terrible sleep. When I spoke with the hotel manager in the morning, she said the a/c was shut off for the building on Oct 1 and that the air was cool enough for "us" (meaning Italians). But isn't a hotel for people from out of town who may not be Italian?

  A great location and friendly staff at hotel Aretino made for an unforgettable last night in Arezzo

  Liked: I needed a place to stay for two nights at very short notice and found this hotel. I liked the location - near the central station, and also on a street with good bars and restaurants. On a hot weekend the aircon was great, so strong that I needed a blanket. The room was spotless and well cleaned during the day. The front desk staff were bright and friendly.

  Disliked: If I had any issue it was the layout of the bathroom. It was quite cramped and little tricky to negotiate, I had to stand in the shower to use the toilet, ended up using it sidesaddle.
