Fabulous
Idylic location
Liked: Such an amazing location. The apartment is set in large gardens with a pool, and unrestricted views over Lake Como. The accommodation is on the top floor, and was spacious enough for our party of 4. Don't let the 48 steps alarm you: you only have to take you luggage up once and back down. The area is secluded, quiet, and we loved walking around the gardens to start our day. There's a locat restaurant literally a 1 minute walk away. This really is a fantastic place to stay.
We had a comfortable stay in this apartment but because we were busy, we didn’t use the facilities as well we could have
Liked: We loved the chance to walk in the gardens and around the lake. Unfortunately we didn’t get to do that until the morning we left!
Disliked: The flights of stairs - but hey this is Europe!

Exceptional
Liked: The property and location of it were absolutely incredible. It was inside a gated garden on the shore of Lake Como and the photos don't do it justice. The pool, gardens and building was well kept. It is an apartment rather than a hotel, so keep that in mind when booking if you would like more of a managed service. Things to note: - It's about a 25 minute walk to Bellagio and there is a rather hefty hill to go up. If you are travelling there by ferry and don't have a car I would pre-book a transfer or make prior arrangements to get there from the Bellagio ferry stop. - There is a ferry stop out front the villa called San Giovannni and it goes across to Tramezzo and a few other spots - There is a lovely little coffee shop that's a 1 minute walk away and they do great sandwiches, coffees and wines - There is a restaurant a 3 minute walk away called Riverside Snack Bar which was recommended to us by a local and on the shoreline and great too

Disliked: No lift had to carry all the luggages upto 3rd floor. Owner could have been more friendlier. We had an another couple with us and the owner assumed they were going to stay with us where else they had booked accommodation else where.
Nice property, lovely agrdens and great quiter location
Liked: A very nice apartment with fantastic gardens and lakeside location. Good sized rooms well equiped and tastefully decorated. A nice quiter location compared to Bellagio town centre, with a nice local cafe (nené) and fish restaurant nearby. The walk to Bellagio was around 25 minutes, which was OK once you got used to it (good to keep fit) The air con was quite basic though with portable fans that were noisy. The pool was nice but quite a walk from the building, would be nicer if it was closer.
Disliked: We had a late flight home on check-out day and asked if we could keep our bags/cases (3) at the property unitil about 3 or 4 but were refused as the host informed us that they had another guest coming. I felt that this was a bit unhelpfull as I'm sure we could have kept them there for a while until the new guest arrived as they would only take up a small amount of space and wouldn't hinder cleaning.
