  This is a great place to stay, so close to everything: the station, the historic square and the beach

  Liked: Great location, lovely discuss bedroom, with balcony, and a large bathroom.

  Liked: Very spacious, amazing views over Caltigrone.

  Disliked: A lot of stairs to climb but our hosts very kindly carried our suitcases up and down when leaving. Fabrizio was very kind and helpful. Brought us some cactus fruit to try.

  Absolutely wonderful

  Liked: Breakfast was served on the small terrace. We preferred cornetti, fresh bread with different kinds of marmalades and of course coffe. Just perfect. We loved this place. Central, next to la scala, quiet and the interior so tastefully idecorated. This was an attic in an old building without lift. There were many steps to walk every day. We arrived Caltagirone con taxi and the driver was not able to bring us to the entrance due to the steep and narrow road. Fabrizio and his son Andrea were very pleasant and helpful people. They kept their place spotless and beautiful.

  Could be great but wasnt

  Liked: The location is great and the decor in the rooms is fantastic.

  Disliked: The organisation was shambolic. Unfortunately the instructions for arriving were not clear so we could not find the b and b. There is no signage. When we arrived the owners son could not communicate and could not wait to leave. Breakfast was very poor and slow. Each room. Had to have their breakfast at separate times and they only have a coffee pot that is so small they can only do one coffee at a time. The worst was that there was no hot water at all. So cold showers. The owners son was disinterested and the owner said it was impossible for there to be no hot water. His wife verified there was no hot water and was horrified but by then we were leaving and it was all too late. Its a shame because the potential is there but there is no way I'd return. The owner offered a 10€ refund which is derisory......
