  A stay that I will never forget and that will stand out in my memory for a very very long time

  Liked: This home/hotel is not like anywhere else. You will have a unique experience, like entering into the lives of the palace owners one hundred years ago, and sharing a slice of their routine. If you are once in Caltagirone, it is the place to spend one night, the room, bed and bathroom were super clean and the whole place has an incredible authentic touch.

  Disliked: I personally found it difficult to carry my suitcase up the stairs, but the Manager/Receptionist who is extremely helpful and kind, offered to carry it for me and it worked wonderfully well. One should not expect to step into a modern hotel with a revolving door and fully lit reception area, you should be willing to step into a real palace with plenty of "oggetti d'arte" and valuable memories.

  Safe bed for a night

  Disliked: It’s very simple and dated (original) not for a long stay. We stayed one night to be close to the centre. Cost reflects accurately!

  Stay here the hosts are the best

  Liked: The location is amazing right near the steps, Comfortable bed excellent shower. But most of the hospitality shows to us -the hosts went out of their way to assist us. Best hosts ever. Can’t remember highly enough. Excellent

  Enjoyed my stay, Grazie Mille Davide for my stay enjoyable

  Liked: Location is amazing, in the middle of everything, just round the corner from piazza Umberto, Scala Santa Maria del Monte is 2 minutes away. Plenty of restaurants nearby Davide was very helpful with good restaurant recommendations. Accommodation is in an old Palace, good size room for a solo traveler, bed and pillows were very comfortable, shower had good water pressure. Davide was very helpful with bus timetables and even gave me a lift to the bus station when I left Caltagirone, WiFi connection was very good, I would stay at Palazzo Aprille again without any hesitation.

  My home in Caltagirone!

  Liked: We’ve been staying here everytime I come to Caltagirone to buy ceramics. The hosts are excellent! Location is fantastic - less than 100m from the giant stairs with gorgeous tiles. Ceramic shops all around. Incredible value for money. Bar cafe 50m away for breakfast and snacks!
