  Why don't they invest in equipment and cleaning? I cannot understand

  Disliked: The apartment was dirty (kitchen was very dirty), some chairs were broken, the electric kettle was broken, a lot of dishes and cutlery were missing, and the ones that were there were sticky with dirt. When the heating broke down, the owner's intervention was very slow (he didn't care much). The only thing that this apartment can boast about is its PERFECT LOCATION and TERRACE WITH A VIEW ON ROME.

  Lovely characterful apartment at a great price in a beautiful place with lots to see and do

  Liked: We loved the apartment. We loved the village and surrounding area. It was excellent value for money. We were very comfortable and the facilities were good - small kitchen but good quality appliances and washing machine. Three shower rooms. The roof terrace has beautiful views and is a real bonus. You literally step out of the main door into a street cafe! Fantastic range of cafes and bars within a few minutes walk. The place had a lovely friendly atmosphere and was lively but not noisy. Beautiful views of the lake from the town. Direct train to Rome from the station - costing a few pounds - literally around £2.50! Enjoyed swimming in the lake & more active members of the party ran the 10k around it. Lots of great food - from the restaurants, takeaways and local shops. Lots to see. I would very happily go back now!

  Disliked: We were all adults and physically able. The flat is on the third floor (like many Italian rentals) which might be a challenge to some. The town itself is also on a hill and walks to the lake and the station are hilly. It wasn't a problem for us but worth noting for children or the elderly.

  Very good

  Liked: Place is well equipped. It had an amazing terrace with a wonderful breathtaking view. The flat is super spacious and each bedroom having its own fully equipped bathroom. It has all you need. Decor is nice and functional. Castel Gandolfo is an amazing place and the apartment cannot be more central than it is. It leads to the main square and there are ample nice cafes, charming bars and nice restaurants close by.

  Disliked: There were some minor things that could have improved the place more, in fact, place could improve on cleanliness. It could have been more clean. Moreover, the uneven steps leading to the apartment are a killer! Other than that, all was fine.

  Liked: Fully equipped apartment at very reasonable price. Wonderful view from the terrace, convenient location in the centre and close to Centro Mariapoli conference center.

  Loved the location, albeit the stairs

  Liked: Location, view awesome.

  Disliked: Wi-FI Bad, 45 steps to get to the unit, and 2 towels for 7 days. Tell people where the staircase entry light switch is. Need to put soap, shampoo, and toliet paper. Had to buy these. Recommend a modern coffee pot too.
