  Liked: A lovely hotel with attentive and helpful staff. We had a few issues with the rooms, but the hotel manager resolved these quickly and kindly upgraded our rooms. The hotel offers a complimentary daily shuttle into Florence in a six-seater Mercedes, which was very convenient and saved us money on taxis. The beautiful town of Fiesole is also just a two-minute drive up the road, with fantastic restaurants and a few bars. Breakfast was perfect with everything you'd except at a high end hotel. The pool area is smaller than the pictures make out but thankfully the hotel was not to busy so it often felt like a private pool area.

  Disliked: Service outside for food/drinks could be very slow as the bar staff were stretched thin.

  Liked: Everything about the hotel, the grounds and the amenities far exceeded my expectations. The property is extremely clean and well maintained and exudes an old world charm. The entire staff were courteous, professional and compassionate, especially in our case because my wife was sick during our stay.and they could not do enough to keep her comfortable. Special thanks to Francesca, Carlo, Neri and Christofero.

  Liked: The location, property and staff are amazing! I wish I had stayed an extra day or two. The perfect place for a peaceful retreat from the bustle of Florence. The quality of every aspect of service is excellent from reception to housekeeping and the chef and entire restaurant staff. I will be back!

  Liked: Beautiful property Staff were so lovely amazing nice what a joy it was to stay there they couldn’t do enough The free shuttle to Florence excellent Great village of fesole. Nice restaurants in surrounded area of hotel

  Disliked: Location was near to fesole but u needed a bus or car to get there bus runs very 15 mins so not a problem parking in fesole not easy

  Wonderful staff in a lovely location

  The worst experience in a very long time. Really bad hotel. Check the pictures I added

  Liked: The terrace for breakfast is very nice.

  Disliked: The rooms were nothing like the pictures. Humidity on the walls, bad smell, old and beaten up furniture. Enough for Booking jumping in to help and have the hotel cancel our prepaid reservation.

The hotel restaurant is closed on Sundays, and in low season. The bar and snack service remains open however, and staff can recommend nearby restaurants.
