  Lovely Refurbished Monestary in a Superb Location

  Liked: Great location, walkable to shops, restaurants, & the tourist areas. Fantastic morning breakfast & exceptional customer service. Spacious rooms & oversized bathroom. Very comfortable stay in a beautiful building.

  Disliked: The outdoor area was very nice but it wasn’t useable because the cushions were not put out until our last evening there. (Yes, the weather was nice.)

  Lovely stay and location

  Liked: **NOTE we did not stay here as we were offered to stay at their sister hotel: Della Calza SPA.**** Della Calza was lovely, particularily the courtyard. My husband used the spa and enjoyed it. The breakfast was very good. We loved the location - it is far enough from the tourist sights to have a lovely neighbourhood feel but close enough to walk to things. We did walk over to Convento to have a look and were pleased that we had moved although both would be nice. The area Convento is in may have more restaurant options (not sure). The room was nice and the bathroom very good.

  Disliked: It was a small King bed and the frame moved quite a bit when one of us rolled over which we tend to do quite a bit. It was also squeaky and a bit hard (which i don't mind but not in a good way).

  Good breakfast but mosquitos in room

  Liked: Breakfast and breakfast staff were excellent.

  Disliked: They have mosquitoes in rooms and outside. They had little vape outlet anti-mosquito plug ins, didn’t help in our room.

  Liked: Location in quieter part of Florence yet still within walking distance to main attractions. Nice grounds, lobby & breakfast area.

  Disliked: Bathroom & shower on smaller size. Prefer having a ceiling fan to a AC specially overnight so we could enjoy the fresh air.
