  We were warmly greeted by the owner and spent a comfortable night in the modern room comfort

  Andreia, the local host, carries this place <3

  Liked: Andreia, the host, is really the bedrock of this place - she's incredibly attentive and made sure we had whatever we needed. She welcomed us in and walked us through the room and then made sure we had a list of restaurant recommendations and were aware that there was a marathon that weekend so it would be harder to find a taxi (which saved us A LOT of stress). She was kind enough to let me leave my luggage and come back before my flight We also had a mix up with transportation to a villa for a wedding and she called a taxi for us and was able to find one even though all the apps / taxi places were not working. Overall huge help to have a local helping out and guiding you through Florence. The location is great because it's tucked away in a local square but then you round the corner and BOOM there are a bunch of tourists, especially near the bridge.

  Disliked: Just keep in mind this is more of an airbnb set-up within a residential building rather than a traditional hotel that would offer breakfast or dry cleaning etc. Small things: - The view is not a direct view of the river / bridge - you have to kind of stick your head out to see it;) - Shower is a bit small and sink isn't wide
