Liked: We stayed here on the first part of our honeymoon - we were warmly welcomed and there was a bottle of wine in our room which was a lovely touch. The room was spotless and ideal location. Would recommend and will be back again for sure.

Liked: The wonderful couple who runs the guesthouse. The spotless room and comfortable bed.

Disliked: Some kind of motor located outside the room seemed to turn on and off. Not a big problem but if you need absolute silence, it's good to know.

Wonderful place to stay in Florence!!

Liked: Convenient location to tourist areas, a lift for your baggage, secure building. The room had a refrigerator which was nice for cold water and leftovers. It also had a safe. Very clean and comfortable. The blackout curtains helped us get good sleep! Beautiful ceilings! Bus nearby.

Disliked: It had a slight bit of noise because of the busy street and restaurant below but it didn’t bother us at all. They gave us earplugs but we didn’t need them. It was very quiet after 11 pm. There was no toilet paper holder connected to the wall but very small issue.

With so many options for where to stay in Florence, this one ticks all the boxes; great location, well maintained, good

Liked: Amazing location to stay in Florence!! Located a short walk to the Duomo and many other local sights, cafes, restaurants, and the main train station. Check-in was easy and the room was well maintained and spacious with a cute private terrace. Highly recommend!

Disliked: No concerns, we loved everything about The Gallery 42!
