  Disliked: Terrible value for money. For nearly 270 euros a night—excluding breakfast—one would expect a much higher standard of hotel. Cleanliness was poor; we found hair in the bathroom, and the coffee machine was still full of pods used by previous guests. There was little attention paid to housekeeping/linen changes, which were frequently overlooked. The reception was effectively non-existent, consisting only of self-service terminals and very young, inexperienced staff. The rooftop, which has great potential, served only fast-food-style, self-service fare and watered-down cocktails (despite our request for little ice, we were essentially served slushies). We even encountered issues during the booking process, met with unprofessional responses.

  Fun concept. Lots to do. Enjoyed our stay

  Liked: We love the concept of The Social Hub. Lots of activity, roof deck etc. Will try this hotel in other cities.

  Disliked: I stayed at the Social Hub in Bologna last May. I truly enjoyed my stay as a solo traveler. The breakfast there was exceptional. I paid 135€ for one night. Which I found to be a reasonable price for this type of hotel. However in Florence the price when booking was more than 500€ for two nights for literally the same type of room in Bologna. At check out for some reason our room price was reduced to 440€ for two nights. As in Bologna we enjoyed the common areas etc. But for the price of a stay in Florence we found the standard room to be a bit expensive and not very that well organized. The racks for putting clothing are not practical. It would be nice to have an armoire or closet instead. There's not enough space to place toiletries in the bathroom. Also we were not given free bottles of water as other hotels do. Everything was to be purchased. Although the breakfast had much choice, we found it a bit expensive for what was on offer. I felt that Bologna had a better selection. Also, the swimming pool was not heated. Which is a disappointment. But overall we enjoyed our stay.

  This hotel wasn’t for us unfortunately and we wouldn’t be staying there again
