  Liked: This is a nice hotel, some distance from downtown, but with a good and frequent bus connection to the city center- The area is beautiful and the house itself quite charming. There is available parking space at the place.

  Perfect base in and around Florence

  Liked: The Hotel is run from Christian Monks. Prior to them it used to be a nobility owned Villa. Out of the combination of the 2: The Place is simple, clean, and grand at the same time. Everything is essential and harmonious at the same time. There is a very good energy in the place. The breakfast was healthy and balanced

  Liked: Helpful staff, I had arranged to drop off my bags around midday but when I arrived at 1145 my room was already available. Breakfast also very good. Bus ticket available at reception: the bus stop is only a two minute walk and then 20 minutes to the city centre. Great value for money

  Liked: Lovely area, great vibes, love the Tuscan views.

  Disliked: Not a great spot for being around activities and the hotspots of Florence, it was a bit of a quest to go back and forth between downtown to the hotel. This place is more suited for older people and people who don't mind getting taxis and private rides all the time or just have extra time to spare for taking buses and trams to the city.

  Charming building with simple & cosy accommodation, on the edge of Tuscan countryside

  Liked: This is an old building made for conferences, religious gatherings and pilgrims - and so it is simply but rather charming, with pleasant grounds, some fabulous views from some of the rooms, a decent breakfast and a great location if you are interested in spending time in the countryside and hanging out atop the hill in lovely Fiesole. The aircon was great, the room was small but cosy with a nice view - For me it was perfect.

  Liked: excellent location, staff, safe yard parking, nice breakfast; bought bus tickets at the reception and the bus was on time. The villa locates in a quiet area but the soundproof of the room is terrible you can hear every movement from the next room. We had a weird neighbor who played TV all nights for two days! We knocked the door but no one answered. It was midnight and there was no one at reception neither. fortunately they left at our last day and we asked the reception to keep adjacent rooms empty so we enjoyed a quiet night. The villa actually have many rooms so next time it would be nice to arrange guests to non-adjacent rooms
