  This place was a great getaway for a short or long term stay it is in a great location and close to everything you need

  Liked: This place was absolutely beautiful I only got to stay one night but got to see so much in Florence absolutely loved the stay, the pool, and the restaurant and the property grounds are beautiful as well and the bathtub was amazing

  We expected more given the price of the hotel

  Liked: The staff were really friendly and the pool was nice and clean.

  Disliked: The bed was not particularly comfortable, and there was noisy construction taking place which could clearly be heard from the pool. We were not informed about this before our stay, which was frustrating. The hotel shuttle into Florence also stops at 7:30pm, making it essentially useless for evenings, and we were surprised to find that the shuttle is chargeable, as this was not made clear when booking. As a result, we ended up spending a fortune on taxis. Overall, we expected more given the price of the hotel.

  Liked: Villa Olmi has so much charm. What immediately drew me in was its authentic, timeless character and the beautiful atmosphere of a traditional Tuscan villa. The property has a real sense of identity and so much potential. My daughter absolutely loved the pool, and I have to say that the entire property was spotlessly clean. The hotel itself was extremely well maintained, and there is really nothing negative to say about the cleanliness. The customer service was also excellent. The staff were attentive, welcoming and genuinely available whenever we needed anything. You really feel taken care of throughout your stay. And the garden is simply beautiful. It’s one of those places where you can slow down, enjoy the surroundings and really appreciate the beauty of the property. That being said, I do feel that a few elements could be improved to better reflect the elegance and overall aesthetic of the hotel. The breakfast, in particular, doesn’t quite match the beauty of the property. The presentation and overall setup could be much more refined and thoughtfully curated. With a little more attention to detail, the breakfast experience could feel much more elevated. I also think the gym would benefit from an upgrade, both in terms of equipment and overall atmosphere, to feel more in line with the standard of the hotel. Finally, I think the amenities could be more generous, especially considering the positioning of the property. A wider selection of thoughtful, high-quality amenities would add another layer to the guest experience. Overall, Villa Olmi is a beautiful property with so much character. The setting, the gardens, the cleanliness, the pool and especially the service are real highlights. I simply think that a few thoughtful upgrades could bring the entire experience to the same level as the beauty and charm of the hotel itself.
