Exceptional
Liked: Excellent location for exploring the old town of Locorotondo and close to restaurants and cafes. My sister and I didn't have a car but bus transport was within walking distance and it was an easy day trip from Locorotondo to Alberobello. The apartment was spacious, super clean and well-maintained. It was comfortable and had everything we needed for self catering for a stay of six nights. The compact bathroom and kitchen were clean and functional for our needs. We loved the decor, furnishings and ceilings. The large balcony was superb for breakfast, lunch and dinner while we watched tourists exploring the narrow alleyways. Our host, Vincenzo, spoke excellent English (we're from Australia, so that was a big plus) and communicated promptly. He met us at the apartment when we arrived (much earlier than the advertised check-in time) from Lecce by train and bus and explained the keys and how everything worked in the apartment. My sister and I fell in love with Locorotondo and booking Il Balcone di Giulietta for six nights was the best decision we made during our four weeks in Puglia.
Magical stay
Liked: Absolutely magical! We loved every minute of our stay. Vincenzo was so helpful and kind, he gave us lots of information on neighbouring towns to visit, restaurants and washing facilities. Nothing was too much trouble for him. He stayed in touch with us during our stay to check if we needed anything. The apartment was beautiful 😍 so clean and spacious. Perfect location right in the heart of the old town with shops and restaurants right on our doorstep. Highly recommended staying here if you are in Locorotondo. Our only complaint was that our stay wasnt long enough 😪 we cant wait to go back

A relaxing winter break
Liked: Great location near the old centre. Lovely small church just outside the door and various bars in the near vicinity. We visited at the start of January. The Christmas lights were still up around the area. It was amazing. The apartment was warm, cosy and I guess traditional. Everything you need in the cupboards. We popped to the main supermarket on the outskirts of town for bits. Some lovely trattorias open even though it wasn’t the tourist season. Vincenzo was great with communication through WhatsApp. Recommended.

Liked: So close in the heart of the old centro storico to all the alley ways and restaurants The apartment itself was so spacious and clean Vicenzo the nephew of the owner was so helpful We stayed 3 nights and could have done with more

Disliked: Little bit noisy as it’s right in the middle of town & next to the great bars & restaurants but windows blocked it out when necessary so no complaints
