  Superb

  Liked: A superbly situated flat in the beautiful historic centre, just a few hundred metres from the main piazza. Furnished and equipped with all the basics you will need. The two rooms are a good size, with separate heaters/ air conditioners that can quickly make the temperature comfortable. The bathroom is smaller (no room for a bidet), with a decent shower, though a finite supply of hot water, a point to consider for couples. I found the bed very comfortable, the area quiet, and the room dark, at least during a Christmas visit, so I slept very well My host was kind enough to meet me on arrival, and explain everything I needed to know. Do give him half--an-hour's notice bf your arrival time, as he has to from out of area. My thanks for his hospitality. One final point to note: it didn't bother me at all, but you should be aware that you will have to get you and your luggage up and down several flights of steep, narrow steps with no handrail in places.

  Beautiful and centrally located

  Liked: Very centrally located in this beautiful town, the place was immaculate. I was also met at the station and driven to the apartment which I really appreciated and was so kind.

  Disliked: I don’t recall seeing in the listing that it was on the 3rd floor via some narrow stairs. It was fine for me but may be an issue for those with mobility concerns. The pillows also need to be changed as they had a very musty smell. I alerted the hosts to this and I have no doubt this will be actioned immediately. The place was otherwise very clean and I will definitely make it my first choice of place to stay if I return

  Perfect old town apartment

  Liked: Our hosts collected us from the train station, accompanied us to the apartment and helped with our bags. The apartment is spacious and located very close to the piazza, but very quiet. We were also able to store our bags after check out which helped us with our later transport.

  Disliked: The bathroom is small but it has everything you need.
