  Lovely hotel at the best location in Napoli

  Liked: This is a lovely hotel, right in the historic centre of Napoli, next to some lovely bars and restaurants and 5 minutes walk to mostly any shop you might need. First time it is indeed a bit difficult to find (mind, to get entrance to the courtyard where the hotel is you need to ring the dedicated bell, at the left hand side of the gate). Outside the gate busy, inside a world of quietness. No lift, but also only one floor. Reception can be a bit 'Italian' (almost brusque, but they tend to warm up), efficient. Our room was large, with a good bathroom (including of course also bidet!). Very quiet. Reception open 24/7. Breakfast between 7 and 10 am, rather basic, but good and some very nice sweets. Swimming pool was inviting, we unfortunately just didn't have the time.... Very convenient was also the possibility to park the car at their own lot next to the hotel. This is a kind of boutique hotel, and with it comes the cosy feeling and sometimes lacking the possibilities of a bigger chain hotel, but price/quality cannot be beaten.

  Disliked: In our room the shower was in the bath, and lacked a bit of power, I prefer a walk in separate shower, but it was not bad, just you know.... getting a bit older... What I missed were freshly pressed juices at breakfast, but service was impeccable and very friendly. And of course, coffee couldn't have been better.

  An oasis of calm in a crazy fabulous city!

  Liked: A lovely oasis in the heart of Naples. Poor was great after a hard days walking round the city. Breakfast was great, the room was comfortable and the staff were pleasant.

  Disliked: The bedroom though comfortable was a bit austere. Could have done with more personal touches - pictures on the wall etc.

  Attractive but quirky

  Disliked: Was not as attractive as photos difficult to find room 2 stories made it difficult to manage suitcases, sewer smell in bathroom
