Good
Liked: AVOID THIS PLACE. THE REALITY IS VERY DIFFERENT FROM THE ONLINE PRESENTATION. Poorly identified, confusing access, questionable staffing and a very misleading “boutique hotel” image. Definitely not recommended. The property is located inside an old and deteriorated building and is surprisingly difficult to find. The signage is poor, the entrance does not resemble a proper hotel entrance, and the internal areas are far from what the listing suggests. The reception faces an old internal courtyard with a neglected appearance, including old vehicles and a generally run-down atmosphere. This is very different from the bright and attractive impression created by the promotional photos. The biggest concern is the lack of professionalism and proper identification of staff. People present at the property were not clearly identified as hotel employees and gave contradictory explanations about whether they actually worked there or were simply covering for someone else. This creates a very uncomfortable and questionable environment for any guest. The luggage storage situation also appeared completely insecure, with luggage expected to be left in the reception area without a clearly identified responsible employee or proper secure procedure. Even basic facilities raised concerns, including a bathroom area that appeared more like a storage room with rubbish and miscellaneous items inside. The term “boutique hotel” usually suggests a small, well-maintained property with character, quality and attentive service. This place gives a completely different impression: poor access, inadequate signage, confusing organisation, questionable staffing and facilities that do not match the image being marketed online. If the real entrance, building, courtyard and common areas were shown clearly in the listing, many people would probably reconsider booking. For anyone considering this property: carefully check recent guest reviews and do not rely only on the main promotional photos.
Disliked: The most unsafe place I have ever entered. I would not recommend it even to my worst enemy. The main hotel photo showing the sea is extremely misleading — that view appears to be from only one room. Most of the property faces the inside of an old, deteriorated building, with little air, no breeze, and a dirty, run-down appearance. Questionable staff, poor identification and absolutely no sense of security.
Ok stay - definitely 3 star hotel
Liked: Simon was very nice and answered all my questions to the best of his ability. The room had enough room with some extra seating but was small. Bathroom was spacious. Had a mini-fridge with reasonably priced beverages. Very secure building. Lots of restaurants nearby
Disliked: A very non-descript hotel but easy enough to find. Needed to use WhatsApp to contact Simon to open the door. Elevator was extremely small. Air conditioner worked but still quite hot in the room.
Fantastic
Liked: The place is great-location is close to the beaches, delicious restaurants and city centre with tourist attractions.Close to the hotel there are many mini-markets to shop for food. The room service is very open and helpful. Rooms are clean. I highly recommend this Hotel and for sure I will come back.
Excellent short stay in a fantastic city. We will certainly be returning to Naples!
Liked: No breakfast included, but there were plenty bars and cafes close by. These were all very good. The facilities were just what we needed and we have no complaints at all. First class service.
Disliked: All was very good.
Very noisy, low quality. Great location
Liked: Location
Disliked: Very Thin walls. Too many noise late at night. Almost impossible to sleep
I reserved this hotel because it was close to the American Embassy
Liked: There was no breakfast.
Disliked: There was no outside signage for H Rooms. The Guesthouse seems to be only on the second floor of a former hotel called the Ansonia. I arrived at night at the Metro station. (There was a taxi strike in Naples so I called for instructions on how to get to the hotel. A man answered and told me what Metro to take and where to get off. I called again when I arrived at the station and after several tries to follow his walking instructions, I insisted he stay on the line and guide me by my telling him what business or restaurant I was passing. It was raining and I could not see street signs. When I arrived at the tall wooden doors which were closed, he told me to push one open and then to go to the 2nd floor and find my room key on the desk. I only then realized that the man who was giving me the instructions was not on site. I found my room which was brightly painted and small with only a window behind a curtain in a small alcove. It was too noisy outside to leave it open. The room and bed were satisfactory but there was a high step up to the bathroom where the lighting was poor, and toilet did not flush fully.
