  Liked: The staff was so friendly and professional, always willing to help. The cleanliness was exceptional, best location for traveling around Napoli, safe and central zone. Thank you so much, and best regards for Luigi the receptionist ❤️

  Disliked: The breakfast was not as excepted as for breakfasts in Italy. The food hasn’t felt very fresh and of quality. Coffee machine needs to be renewed:) doesn’t taste like a real Italian coffee. But other than that everything was really perfect 👌🏼

  Nice short stay in the busy area

  Liked: The hotel is very nicely appointed. Very modern. The location is near great food, great shopping, and sites to visit. Once you reach the property it’s almost like a speakeasy as the building entrance belies the hotel itself

  We liked it! If you don't mind the minor cons, definitely stay here. It's the best in the area

  Liked: The room is very spacious with a modern interior. But they also have smaller rooms. So it depends. 24-hour front desk. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The cleaning staff was very attentive. The breakfast buffet offered a great variety of local dishes, with new options every single day. Perfect location. Located directly across from Teatro San Carlo, and our room had an inside view of Galleria Umberto.

  Disliked: The soundproofing is not optimal. During the day, you could hear people outside on the street and inside the Galleria. You could also hear the front desk talking, the phone ringing, and the breakfast preparation in the morning. However, it was completely quiet at night, so we slept very well. The breakfast room is a bit small and could get crowded, though it was fine most of the time. A bit pricey compared to other hotels. The Wi-Fi was quite inconsistent. My wife could stream, but sometimes she had problems to connect at all. On my iPad, games took longer time to load than usual.

  Fantastic location, modern, spotless, and very comfortable rooms

  Liked: Fantastic location. Professional front desk staff. Go out of their way to make sure your stay is a good one. Comfy bed, excellent AC, great view of the galleria! In the evening I asked for some specific local dishes, and as a long time local resident they provided nice recommendations for the area. Had a very early flight scheduled, so that evening they arranged a taxi for me and had a breakfast ready to go for me in the morning. Excellent service.

  Disliked: I was fine, just be aware if you have large luggage or a larger group - Inconvenient entrance / a little hard to find / with a very small elevator (as expected for a building in this part of town) - but well worth any small effort once you're inside.

  Great choice to stay - close to the Naples port and next to the Spanish Quarter

  Liked: The location is right on the border of the Spanish Quarter of Naples. The entrance was a little hard to find. It is in an alley between outside seating of two different restaurants. If you arrive after 6 or 7PM you will have to ring the buzzer of the hotel. The same entrance is used for apartments in other parts of the building - it is a large building.

  Disliked: Trying to find the entrance was a challenge - just remember It is in an alley (Piazzetta Matilde Serao) between outside seating of two different restaurants. It is a large wood door with a multi-button gold box intercom next to the door.Press the Hotel Matilde button if coming at night and they will buzz you in. Take the stairs to the second floor to the hotel entrance.
