  At this price level, air conditioning, bed linen, towels, and a more flexible approach to check-in should be standard

  Liked: The apartment is spacious and in a convenient location, not far from the centre of Palau.

  Disliked: The apartment does not have air conditioning, only fans. During our stay, temperatures were very high, and we found this inadequate, especially for a property in this price range. With a total cost of almost €500 for two nights for two adults and two children, the additional charges of €5 per person for bed linen and €8 pp for towels felt excessive. The check-in arrangements were unnecessarily rigid. We were travelling by car and were repeatedly asked to provide a fixed arrival time, while even a one-hour window was not considered sufficient. Road travel inevitably involves some uncertainty, and the process felt more like catching a flight than checking into a holiday property. WiFi was not working.

  Liked: Place was okay for the price. The apartment was large and had many beds to accommodate a larger party

  Disliked: There is no AC in the apartment, just a few fans, which is absolutely brutal during the summer and made the stay tremendously challenging. Other reviews mention this, but paying for linens and towels is not standard and a bit of a nuisance. Check in was very specifically timed, you have to be there to meet the host. Lastly, we had to physically transport the trash from the apartment to a difficult to locate garbage facility minutes away in the town without clear instruction.

  Avoid it!!

  Liked: Only that it has two bathrooms

  Disliked: Everything else. We have been traveling through Sardinia and it is by far the worst apartment we have been to. In fact it is one of the most expensive and it is not worth it. Be aware that they charge extra for the bed linen and the towels (almost 100€ in cash in advance), but bed linen are not even ironed and the towels are old and worn (like the apartment itself). Managers do not speak English (they were wearing a mask and did not look at us in the eyes). Managers were very pushy with the schedules, they were sending messages all the time. I really do not recommend this apartment

  Highly recommend! Just note linens not included in price

  Liked: The apartment is huge and seems newly renovated. Fabulous view, well stocked kitchen, convenient location near restaurants and supermarkets, and free parking. Was so much space for just two, yet very affordable!

  Disliked: I didn't realize linens and towels were not included in the price, for me this was quite odd and inconvenient. So just be aware of this! Also requires a 200 euro cash deposit which made me a bit nervous, but was not an issue.
