Exceptional
The park-like feel of the surrounding property and the hosts warm hospitality makes Acero Giallo a special stay
Liked: Very private location with nice property landscaping and mature shade trees. Our host was exceptionally cordial, welcoming us with a bottle of chilled Champagne and plate of aperitif. He also worked hard to get us as a last minute reservation at a local good restaurant.
Disliked: We didn’t realize when booking how close the entrance is to a very busy street roundabout intersection. Turning left across traffic to enter is dangerous because there is no dedicated turning area coming immediately out of a roundabout when heading east and cars are coming quickly behind you on a major thoroughfare. It is worth knowing about before approaching. We were able to drive further and found the next roundabout to turnaround in and head back to the entrance without having to turn across traffic.

Liked: Lovely self contained studio with lots of outside space for the dog. Generous breakfast supplies and small fridge to store own food.
Ideal if you are traveling by car with a pet
Liked: A lovely place just outside Parma. Acero Giallo sits in a lovely green area on the edge of the city — close enough to reach the historic centre easily, but far enough to feel peaceful and away from the noise. The perfect base if you want the best of both worlds. The experience was excellent from start to finish. The owner is genuinely welcoming, the kind of host who makes you feel at home immediately and goes out of their way to make the stay special. Travelling with our dog was completely stress-free — the place is pet-friendly in the truest sense, not just on paper. Highly recommended for anyone visiting Parma, especially with four-legged companions. We'll be back.

Liked: Very quiet and secluded location in a beautiful garden, bed large and comfortable, doors leading to terrace outside excellent for dog, hosts very friendly and helpful, everything very clean and nicely appointed room with aircon and shutters
