Fabulous
Beautiful hotel that could easily be an amazing hotel experience if thr small issues with breakfast and room cleanliness
Liked: Location was fantastic for Old Town and the park. The room was a good size and very comfortable (especially the bed and linen). Restaurant team in the evenings were attentive and professional.
Disliked: Breakfast was appalling. All hot dishes were cold (even foods brought out from the kitchen as replenished items). Breakfast brigade appears nonchalant and lacked any evidence of leadership on all 4 mornings we dined there. Two coffee machines is not enough for column of guests at breakfast. Room cleaning was initially poor however after escalating to reception, this was rectified immediately and remained constant for the rest of our stay. No iron or ironing board in the room.
Liked: Perfect location and true 4 star hotel
15 minutes walk to the centre of town, a bit decadent building with construction works around
Liked: The rooms were fine. The reception area nice. There was a free parking outside the hotel.
Disliked: We had two rooms in the hotel, and in the evening we wanted to have dinner in their restaurant, but we were Rolf that they didn’t have a table for 4 due to two tourist groups that just had arrived. So with a little child we had to go and look for another restaurant. The neighbourhood isn’t child friendly and wouldn’t recommend it for lonely women!
Would highly recommend
Liked: Staff was very accommodating. A real 4 star hotel. Lovely 10 to 15 minute walk through beautiful Parc to the old town. Safe parking in the property
A good Hotel for Travelers to the Beautiful City of Parma
Liked: The hotel offers a good value for money proposition for a decent well functioning hotel. The hotel is within walking distance (approx. 1 km) to the city center of Parma and it is situated right next to a big park. The breakfast offers all what a traveler needs. If there is room for parking in front of the hotel it is even free.
Disliked: The coffee coming out of their coffee machines could have a better taste. The milk coming out of the machine for a caffe latte is provided by milk powder which one can taste.
Easy and comfortable, very helpful staff
