Cozy base to explore Parma
Liked: Location: The location of this one room apartment is fantastic. Parking can be difficult in Italian cities. Here we had a closed and monitored parking garage for 12€ a day close by (short 2 min walk). The place is close to the university and it is off the main street to the old town with plenty of little shops and cafés with that student life flair. At the same time we were very close to the old town and the owner suggested fantastic restaurants. Apartment: The apartment is small but cozy. The only thing to be aware of is that it is in the 3rd floor without a lift and up a very narrow staircase. It is an old building and that is part of its charme. The apartment however is not at all old. It is nicely renovated and had everything we needed for our short stay. We were there in the fall but for the summer time there is A/C available. Lastly, the place was very clean and we instantly felt comfortable. Check-in: The check-in was done over the phone and our host Vincenzo was very friendly. It was very well organized with a little check-in video that made it impossible to get confused. If we had questions we got responses within minutes. Even though we never met Vincenzo we felt well taken care of.
our stay was literally perfect, the location is great, you can walk whenever you want, no need for transportation, near
