  Disappointing

  Disliked: The place is basic Major issues are the tiny shower which is totally not appropriate for an adult The kitchen was totally empty, not towels, not even napkins

  Liked: Very comfortable and quiet place. Prompt service by the host. Questions were quickly answered.

  Good place to get known Parma a bit

  Liked: Easy check-in/checkout, the apartment was clean and has a good location

  Disliked: It would be great to have at least a salt and some oil in the kitchen and washing powder

  Mixed feelings

  Liked: We rented 2 apartments (apt. 1 and apt. 8). The apartment 8 was pleasant, clean and with air conditioning on (prepared by the host as it was a warm day).

  Disliked: Apartment no. 1 had a persistent smell (like old building, cellar type of smell or maybe sewage). The apartment is at the ground floor. The smell was obvious from the moment the door was open. Our friends opened the windows in hope the smell would go away. This was disappointing considering the price for the night was 150 EUR / apartment. We went for dinner, for about 2-2.5h but when we came back the smell was not gone. Our friends decided to not stay during the night so they had to leave to find something else. This was happening during the evening, after having driven from Puglia all the way to Parma (family with 2 children), so this was not something they wanted to do. I have contacted the host, he could not be there as he was working. I've explained the situation and he said he would check in the morning. The feedback I got from the host was that they did not notice any strange / bad smell. It was disappointing that the host did not understand the situation and did not provide any alternative or refund.
