  If you are up to climbing this is a great place to stay

  Liked: The property was super cute, clean and well appointed. The host was very kind and helpful.

  Disliked: I had a bit of a struggle getting the cooktop to work but Paolo helped me figure it out. Perugia gave me quite a workout. This apartment is at the bottom of a steep hill.

  Nice place to stay for a night or two

  Liked: It was nice and central, the owner was helpful and pleasant. He let us check in early.

  Disliked: It lacked basic facilities such as a microwave, there are no wine glasses, no toaster, no air conditioning and it was hard to sleep in 29 degrees with just a fan. There is no iron. Also a washing machine would make a huge difference to people who are travelling from other countries as they are often away for week. Would be happy to pay a bit more for these things.

  Nice apartment and good location

  Liked: The apartments are located in a very convenient spot: it’s a 3–5-minute walk to Piazza del Duomo. It takes 20 minutes to walk down the hill to the train station. The apartments are in an old, historic building, but everything inside is new, well-maintained, and clean.

  Disliked: I didn't like that the host wouldn't let me check out 30 minutes later, as I'd asked—as if 30 minutes would make any difference. You're not asking to check out 2 or 3 hours later, but just 30 minutes! And at exactly 10 a.m., the cleaning lady was already standing at the door...

  Liked: The apartment was lovely with an excellent bathroom and comfortable bed. Extremely clean and renovated to a high standard. Good location if a little tricky manhandling luggage up steep hills.

  Disliked: The apartment does not have air-conditioning and only has two ceiling fans which only move the warm air around the rooms. The windows are new with no vents or insect screens so cannot be left open at night, meaning the apartment never went below 28° and at times during the night registered nearly 30°. This made sleep extremely difficult.

  Liked: Beautifully kept, clean and modern, facilities were excellent including pastries and Nepresso machine. The location is right in the city center. Excellent communication from Paolo.
